Tooth troubles

Warning: This post is not suitable for the squeamish!

This is me:
Due to being chicken and not getting a broken tooth removed completely, I now have a face swollen up on one side like this.
I am curious as to whether it will stop trying to swell up more, as I don't really want my face to do a Mrs Creosote on me.
Oh well, off to the After Hours medical centre for some ABs, I think. I have comedy to write and a shop to run, no time for this bollocks!

  1. Poor puppy - you should not neglect your teeth. This from someone who only goes to the dentist in an emergency - I feel your pain.

  2. Oh dear - that's a bit nasty. Off you go to the dentist to get that nasty tooth removed. And you will need antibiotics and painkillers too, I guess.
Best of luck - hope it is all under control very soon.

    1. ABs and pain killers all stocked up, after a very nice and very good young GP at the after hours prescribed them. $150 later mind you...!

  6. Nothing to be ignored! This infection could actually work it's way into your brain, which happened to a friend of mine who ignored the awful hurtful symptons. My friend became extremely ill. So don't fool around and I hope you are feeling all better real soon.

  8. Dear Mrs. C.,
Hoping that the antibiotics have done their job and that you are on the mend now. Gracious, how entirely unomfortable.
    Very best,
    Natalie

  10. It's tough to be stuck in such a quandary, what with being in pain for the broken tooth that is not being fully broken, and not having the courage to remove it. I think you just have to deal with that as fast, or else risk it messing with more of the nerves in your gums.
